We grow all our plants organically and use only Soil Association certified composts, click here to read about them.  We use friendly biological controls and, rarely, natural sprays.

We raise about 80% of our plants on the nursery from seed, cuttings, divisions or plug plants.  The rest we source carefully, often from National Collection holders.

Because we supply the National Trust, any bought in plants are stripped out of their original composts and re-potted into our organic ones. We do not use slug pellets - not even the “good” ones - so we also remove any we find in bought-in plants.
